At first taking the Ground Chicken in a mixing bowl add one by one Yellow Food color, Soy sauce, Tomato Ketchup, Lime juice, Garam Masala powder, Ginger and Garlic paste and Salt asper taste. Soy sauce itself contains a good quantity of salt so prudence to be applied while adding fresh salt to the mixture. Intermix all these items properly by hand. Taking a small quantity of Chicken mixture make a round shaped ball and coat with rice. It is to note that any kind of rice can be used to make Jhal Kodom but the rice which yield long on boiling is much preferable to the purpose. Here Basmoti rice is used for its same feature.
